The fixed rule
Qualifying HighLevel usage is billed at 1.30×.
After any included plan allowance is used, TEA bills qualifying HighLevel usage at 1.30× the applicable HighLevel charge in effect when the usage occurs. This is a 30% markup that supports billing administration, wallet funding, monitoring, reconciliation, and platform support.
The actual charge is calculated through HighLevel's rebilling system using the live service rate and the TEA multiplier. The examples below are a readable snapshot—not a substitute for the in-app rate breakdown or an itemized wallet transaction.
Three charge types
What the 1.30× rule covers
Qualifying usage
Phone, standard messaging, email, verification, eligible AI, premium workflow actions, and other services that HighLevel supports through usage rebilling use the 1.30× multiplier.
Mandatory adjustments
HighLevel may add a required location-level adjustment to carrier, A2P, regulatory, or similar pass-through charges before applying TEA's multiplier. Those upstream adjustments are part of the applicable GHL charge.
Resold add-ons
Domains, listings, WordPress, dedicated IPs, WhatsApp subscriptions, SEO tools, marketplace apps, and other fixed add-ons use the price shown when activated or stated in the order—not automatically this usage multiplier.

Phone numbers, SMS, MMS, and voice
Phone pricing varies by country, destination, number type, carrier, message encoding and segment count, call routing, and optional features. These common US/Canada examples use HighLevel's published base rates. Longer SMS messages may generate multiple billable segments, and calls may be rounded according to provider rules.

Rates that change by selection
AI, WhatsApp, domains, and other variable services
AI charges may vary by product, model, token input and output, voice minutes, action, plan, and fair-use allowance. Eligible pay-per-use AI is billed at 1.30× the applicable HighLevel charge. Fixed AI Employee subscriptions or other resold plans use the price presented at activation.
WhatsApp usage varies by country and message type. Domain prices vary by domain and top-level domain. Marketplace and reselling products may use a subscription, custom resale price, or provider-specific pricing instead of the usage multiplier. The activation screen, accepted order, or TEA Client Dashboard identifies the applicable model before the service is enabled.

Visibility and control
Wallet funding, itemization, and allowances
HighLevel deducts qualifying usage from the applicable wallet as services are used. When a wallet falls below its configured minimum, the connected payment method may be charged to reload it. A wallet reload is a prepaid balance, not a separate usage fee; individual services then consume that balance.
Clients can review wallet balance, recharge settings, and detailed usage transactions in the TEA/HighLevel account billing area when available. Usage allowances included in an order are applied before overage billing. Usage, carrier, registration, consumed third-party, and other pass-through charges are nonrefundable except for a verified billing error or where law requires otherwise.
Questions or suspected errors should be sent to support@ask4tea.com within 30 days of the charge so our team can compare the client transaction with the agency billing record.
How the schedule stays synchronized
HighLevel remains the billing source of truth.
- 01Live calculation
The 1.30× setting lives in HighLevel's SaaS/rebilling configuration. When an eligible HighLevel base rate changes, the billing engine applies the multiplier to the then-current charge.
- 02Published disclosure
TEA maintains this public schedule with representative rates, provider links, formula, exceptions, and a visible verification date.
- 03Reconciliation
Our team reviews the in-app rate breakdown, HighLevel change notices, and wallet transactions and updates this page when a published example changes.
If an example on this page conflicts with the live applicable HighLevel charge because of an upstream change, the current HighLevel charge multiplied under this policy controls, subject to applicable notice requirements. TEA will not change the 1.30× multiplier itself without updating this schedule or stating a different rule in an accepted order.
